Evening Primrose Oil 10% GLA

Evening Primrose Oil is extracted from the tiny seeds of the beautiful Evening Primrose flower and is regarded as one of the most popular sources of an essential fatty acid called Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) which makes it an exceptionally nourishing oil for your skin as well as positively affecting many of the enzyme functions in the body.

Native Americans have used evening primrose oil since ancient times to make an infusion for healing wounds because it reduces bacteria and infection as well as reduces inflammation. It's used in skin care products not only for these reasons but also because of its excellent moisturizing and emollient properties which reduces the affects of aging skin. Evening primrose oil is often prescribed for dry skin problems like psoriasis and eczema.

Bring some peace to your life with a calming blend of organic Bergamot, Ylang Ylang Complete and Clary sage suspended in first press organic cherry oil. I use this as a scent in my car to counterattack the inevitable aggravation of traffic. This is one of my favorite day-to-day survival oils.

Certified Organice Eucalyptus Citriodora. (Lemon Eucalyptus) is fantastic on skin ailments (Burns, blisters, wounds, insect bites, lice, and skin infections), as well as to combat the effects of colds and the flu. There is also a history of Eucalyptus essential oil being applied to sore muscles and joints.

The CDC has approved Lemon Eucalyptus as an alternative to DEET insect repellents, and has said that it is safer to use on children and the elderly than products containing DEET. Note that this oil does not have carrier oil included, and should be diluted in oil before using on the skin.

Lavandula angustifolia is the true lavender (as opposed to spike lavender, lavandin, etc.). It is produced throughout the world, although France is considered the premier growing region. Lavender oil is a very safe and much loved essential oil. Orange oil is one of those oils that everyone should have around the house. From mixing with a little baking soda to make a fantastic tooth (and sink) polish, to adding to vinegar to break up hard water stains on faucets and porcelain, or adding to water to make a refreshing room spritzer, and dabbing on a dusting cloth to give wood an extra shine and great smell, (then toss the cloth in the dryer for an all natural dryer sheet) orange oil is one of those things I consider a necessity.

Advisory: Do not use this blend in a bath! Trust me when I tell you that eucalyptus oil and private parts are two things that should never, ever, meet. (Unless of course you're trying to walk on water, in which case...eucalyptus oil in a bath may very well make you levitate right out of it.)
