Geranium Bourbon
- ( Pelargonium graveolens )
This is a very fine Geranium essential oil grown
on the fertile, lush island of Réunion, formerly known as
Bourbon, from where it gets its name. Geranium essential oil is great for many skin
problems and reportedly helps regulate the skin's sebum. It is
traditionally used for treating menopause and menstruation
conditions because it seems to have a balancing effect on the
hormones and the adrenal cortex. Geranium has a pleasing aroma that is softly
floral and green; it is used extensively in perfumery.
